ABOUT ME

As a child, Sarah adores her grandfather, a passioned art historian. Each visit he brings art books. On his lap Sarah discovers painters and sculptors throughout history. Her passion for art is born early. Sarah turns her passion into her studies and her profession.

After graduating cum laude in Plastic Arts Sarah is selected by a jury to design the logo of StudentAid Antwerp. The result of her work appears on the cover of the magazine Knack and numerous gadgets. Shortly after Sarah receives her first professional painting commissions.

Sarah creates her own paintings, murals, 3D art and illustrations. She often also works on assignment. Throughout her career she develops a broad repertoire of painting techniques and approaches to align with her client’s needs and wishes. Her work is sometimes figurative, sometimes abstract. She always leaves her own mark on each creation. And the revelation of each work still gives her a healthy dose of stress.

To spark the passion for art and creativity Sarah has been teaching for 20 years: first in high school, today in personalized private lessons and tailor-made workshops.
